So September is national breakfast month and here are our dietitians favorite go-to breakfasts:
Taylor: 2 eggs, Chobani flip yogurt (my favorites are the banana, coconut, the tropical), 1 slice of bacon and 2 cups of coffee with heavy cream
Elaine: oatmeal with peanut butter and fresh berries. It’s like a PBJ in a bowl!
Anna: whole wheat toast with peanut butter
Ashley: vega shake with banana and coconut milk
Lindsey: Eggs scrambled with onions and tomatoes, whole wheat English muffin and turkey bacon
Allie: I’m usually running out the door so during the week I grab a protein granola bar with a string cheese for some extra fat and protein to keep me full until snack time. On weekends when I have a little more time, I love to make cheesy scrambled eggs (1 whole egg + 1 egg white) & a slice of seeded whole grain toast. Whipping a small amount of milk into the eggs makes them extra fluffy and delicious!
